Saturday September 15,2012 Flat Rock, Michigan
Here I am at the end of my vacation with Hal. We have had a good time and I feel very comfortable with him. The highlights of the trip have been the beautiful country of Niagara Falls, Old Fort Erie, the beauty of the Ontario area with it's tidy homes, the estate of Edsel and Eleanor Ford and now the camaradie of the hawk watchers. So far, I have been able to entertain myself, but today may be difficult. It is much colder outside, so sitting outside might be difficult.
We will be back in Chicago on Monday. I have been trying to figure out my feelings about having two abodes. I miss Borrego a lot and am looking forward to our return. Chicago is what is troubling me. We have settled there and perhaps I am a nomad at heart and need to not be tied down. I will inititate more trips outside the city next year and see if that solves my dilema.  More later.
